Are your earrings real gold?+
Our earrings are designed with beautiful gold or silver finishes, but they are not made of solid gold. Our jewellery material is nickel free and is safe for the skin. We ensure you get the royal look and quality craftsmanship without the premium gold price.
How should I care for my jewellery?+
Treat your pieces gently. Avoid spraying perfume or deodorant directly on them, keep them dry, and store them safely in a jewellery box. Wipe them softly after each use to keep them sparkling.
Can I get my order gift wrapped?+
Yes. Every piece is packed with care, but if it’s a gift, add a gift wrap service to your cart. Just search for “Gift wrap service” on our website to see the options. We will remove the pricing from the product.
Do you take custom orders?+
Currently, we offer only our exclusive curated designs. But we love hearing from our Ikara women — feel free to share your ideas with us.
Do you ship internationally?+
At the moment, we ship only within India. However, we’re working on bringing Ikara Alankar to more of you worldwide — stay tuned.

Will I get exactly what I see on the website?+
Yes. At Ikara Alankar, we truly believe in “What you see is what you get.” Every piece is photographed in natural light in our in-house studio, so you see the true colours and details. Each product has its specifics clearly mentioned in the Description section. No surprises — just timeless elegance delivered to your doorstep.
Do you have a physical store?+
No. Ikara Alankar is an exclusive online boutique. We don’t have any physical branches yet, which helps us bring thoughtfully curated pieces right to your doorstep.
Is there a guarantee or warranty on your products?+
Our jewels are crafted with great care and high-quality finishes, so their shine and colour stay beautiful with regular use. Since Ikara Alankar offers fashion jewellery, there’s no formal guarantee or warranty — but rest assured, your pieces will last wonderfully if you care for them well. Keep them away from soap, water, and perfume as much as possible, and always tuck them back into their box after wearing.

Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?+
We ship all across India. Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for your convenience at a fixed charge of ₹150.
How long will my order take to arrive?+
1. Metro Cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata): 2–3 days
2. Tier 2 Cities: 3–4 days
3. Rest of India: 4–6 days
4. Express Delivery: 48–72 hours (where available)
How can I track my order?+
Once your order leaves our studio, you’ll get an email with a tracking number and a live link. Enter your email ID while placing the order to get timely updates.
When will my order be delivered?+
When your parcel is out for delivery, our courier partner will call you to confirm the delivery time. Keep your phone handy — an OTP is required to receive your package securely.
What if I miss my delivery?+
Each order gets three delivery attempts before returning to us. If you miss it, our team will reach out to help.
1. If a prepaid order comes back to us undelivered, it can be reshipped for an additional ₹125.
2. If you choose to cancel it instead, we’ll issue a refund coupon code after deducting two-way shipping charges of ₹250.

We partner with trusted logistics providers like Delhivery, Shiprocket, and others to ensure your Ikara treasures reach you safely and on time.

Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?+
Yes. COD is available across India with a fixed COD charge of ₹150 per order.
What if my money gets debited but I don’t receive an order confirmation?+
Your money is safe.
1. Wait 10 minutes and check if the amount has reversed back.
2. If not, email us at ikaraheirlooms@gmail.com with your transaction details, name, and email ID used while ordering. We’ll resolve it quickly (Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM).
Are there any hidden charges?+
No. The price you see at checkout is exactly what you pay. No hidden costs.
Return & Exchange FAQs
Can I return or exchange my order?+
Yes, if:
1. The seal and all tags are intact.
2. You request a return within 3 days of delivery.
3. You share an unboxing video if the piece is damaged, broken, or incorrect.
4. The item is unused and in its original packaging (jewellery box, pouch, certificate, etc.).
Note: Worn, altered, or used pieces can’t be returned.
How do I start a return or exchange?+
Email us within 3 days at ikaraheirlooms@gmail.com with:
1. Your order number
2. Reason for return
3. The unboxing video (if applicable)
Once approved, we’ll schedule a pickup — return shipping is free.
Why is an unboxing video required?+
To keep things fair for everyone:
1. The video must show the sealed package being opened in one continuous shot.
2. It must clearly show the item, tags, and any damage.
3. Blurry, cut, or edited clips won’t be accepted.
How and when will I get my refund?+
Refunds are processed once the returned item passes inspection.
1. For quick refunds, opt for a store credit coupon valid for 1 year.
2. Paid online? Refunds will go to the same account within 6–7 working days.
3. Paid by COD? A cheque will be issued in your name — this may take up to 30 days.
4. During peak seasons, refunds may take 10–12 working days.
How does the exchange process work?+
If the item you want is in stock, we’ll process your exchange. If it’s out of stock, we’ll issue a refund as per the refund timeline.
What if my returned item doesn’t pass inspection?+
If the piece shows signs of wear, missing tags, or tampering, the return will be declined. The item will be kept safe in our warehouse for 30 days for you to arrange pickup at your own cost. After 30 days, the piece will be discarded.
What about free gifts or promotional items?+
If you return an order that included a free gift, please return the free gift too. If the freebie is missing, the return will be rejected and no refund will be processed.
What if my return package gets lost?+
We handle return shipping through trusted delivery partners. If your return package goes missing in transit, we’ll verify it with our partner and issue you a full refund or exchange.
Can I make multiple returns?+
Frequent return requests may lead us to decline future returns or exchanges.

Cancellation & Refund
Can I cancel my order?+
Yes, you can cancel your order before it is dispatched.
If your order has not yet been packed or shipped, we’ll process a full refund to your original payment method.
Once your order has been packed or handed over to our delivery partner, it cannot be cancelled — but don’t worry: items are returnable and refundable (conditions apply). Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for full details.
How do I request a cancellation?+
Simply email us at ikaraheirlooms@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp with your order number as soon as possible.
Our team will check the order status and confirm if it can be cancelled.
How will I get my refund?+
For prepaid orders cancelled in time, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 6–7 working days.
If you paid by COD, there is no upfront payment to refund.
What if I still don’t want the order after it’s shipped?+
Accept the order and then request a return as per our Return & Exchange Policy.
For prepaid orders, we will deduct the two-way shipping cost (₹250) and issue you a refund coupon valid for 1 year.
Non-Returnable & Non-Cancellable Gift Wrap Service+
Please note that our Gift Wrap Service is non-returnable and non-cancellable once your order has been dispatched.
If you cancel your order before dispatch, the gift wrap charge will be refunded along with the product amount.
After dispatch, this service fee cannot be refunded or cancelled.
